Regence requires the NPI and tax
ID number be submitted on all electronic claims. Inclusion
of the Regence provider identifier is optional.
Electronic claims will be rejected if
NPI is missing.
Note: Providers must still submit their tax ID number on
all claims to facilitate proper payment assignment, regardless
of whether an NPI is submitted or not.
Dual-use extended
You may continue submitting your Regence provider ID with
your NPI until further notice.
