Abusive spouses and boyfriends commit over 14,000 acts
of violence in the workplace every year. Multnomah County,
Oregon's Domestic Violence Coordinator's Office has
an online
training module (also available as a printable PDF
file) that explains how coworkers and managers can make
the workplace safer and more secure while providing
much-needed emotional support to employees who are experiencing
abuse or harrassment.

National and regional listings of domestic violence
and sexual assault resources are available at the Oregon
Coalition Against Domestic And Sexual Violence (OCADSV)
Web site.
The National Health Resource Center on Domestic Violence
provides numerous free educational and informational
packets to health care professionals, domestic violence
service providers, government agencies, researchers
and policymakers. These packets may be downloaded from

Violence Prevention Fund or may be requested by

The Family Violence Prevention Fund Web site also offers
a routine screening document Preventing
Domestic Violence: Clinical Guidelines on Routine Screening.
In addition to specific guidelines for primary care,
ob-gyn, family planning, urgent care, mental health,
and inpatient settings, Preventing Domestic Violence
includes an extensive bibliography, documentation forms,
and other useful materials.
